Purpose of Role

Under Armour’s vision is to be the #1 Performance Athletic Brand in the world. To help achieve this goal, we are building a progressive Financial Planning & Analysis team whose focus is developing core competencies in the areas of FP&A, Decision Support, and Strategy Execution. The Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate will be a key member of our team by supporting our Corporate Functions which is a key component of our corporate strategic plan. This position will work closely with teammates at all levels, including Executive Leadership.

Your Impact

  • Support and Partner with VPs of Sales and their teams, as well as Wholesale support teams (Merch, Planning, Strategy, etc) as primary FP&A Partner

  • Manage $50M Selling SG&A Budget – Manage forecast submissions at the detailed level. Partner with teams across Wholesale to source key inputs/data to drive forecast accuracy. Analyze forecast vs. prior and craft story for leadership.

  • Perform Month-End SG&A Variance analysis and communicate story to Leadership. Lead Meetings with Wholesale sales and support teammates to understand variances to forecast and adjust forecast as needed.

  • Month End Close – Partner with Accounting to book ensure journal entries (Accruals, allocations, reclasses) at close are complete and accurate.

  • Own monthly/quarterly reporting packages to communicate SG&A budgets vs. actuals to Sales Leaderships. Provide key commentary and drive accountability to budgets.

  • Support special projects to drive improvement and understanding of complex areas of the business

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field

• 2-4 years of experience in FP&A, accounting, and/or business analysis

• Advanced knowledge in Excel including financial modeling, business case creation, and scenario/sensitivity analysis

• Familiarity with corporate financial accounting systems (e.g., SAP Integrated Business Planning for Finance (IBPF), SAP COPA (Controlling – Profitability Analysis), Anaplan, etc.)

Workplace Location

  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore office.

  • Return to Work Designation:3 days week in-office, the remainder of work week remote.

Base Compensation

$64,182.00 - $88,250.80 USD

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
