The is a dedicated strategy teammate embedded within the Global Ecommerce business unit to drive and coordinate the vision for ecommerce globally and identify opportunities for growth. The Global Ecommerce team is cross-functional in nature, consisting of teammates across Product Management, Business Enablement, Delivery, Consumer Experience and Engineering. This role works not only within ecommerce, but also cross-functionally with other global and regional business units, to frame complex and ambiguous business challenges, consumer needs and specific business goals.

This highly collaborative role interfaces heavily with internal team members, regional teammates and C-level throughout the strategy development process as well as execution. The Sr. Manager leads cross-functional engagement teams across a range of complex project types with multiple components. These may include research and insights, valuation and business case development, establishing a vision, organizational design, process optimization, operational readiness, rationalizing communication, and future state visualizations. The Sr. Manager is a visionary leader who "connects the dots" around business and consumer insights and articulates digital concepts and solutions in a clear and compelling way.

Core Duties/Responsibilities

  • Drive, manage, facilitate, and evaluate output from the 3-5-year planning process for global ecommerce team

  • Establish long-range global ecommerce strategic roadmap and vision. Partnering with cross-functional teammates like Product Management to develop specific mid-term strategic roadmaps to achieve the long-term goals.

  • Develop and implement long and short-term strategies for Global DTC business, how to win as an Omnichannel brand across the globe.

  • Lead Ecommerce Channel strategy, defining and executing on differences between Branded.com (UA.com), 3P (Amazon etc.), Wholesale.com (Dicks.com etc.) and O/O Retail

  • Lead digital first initiatives with a strong focus on business analysis, strategic and financial modeling, differentiated digital experiences, key digital capabilities and/or road mapping

  • Engage with partners to identify key strategic challenge(s) and business, marketing and digital needs to be addressed; evaluate scope of strategic engagement

  • Test digital hypotheses through research, scenario analysis, financial modeling and response forecasts

  • Create strategic and financial models to articulate business value in partnership with FP&A team.

  • Facilitate workshops, ideation sessions, decision-making

  • Lead strategic review of solution development; provide clear and timely feedback to ensure experiences, technology and marketing solutions are delivered on-strategy

  • Lead the Global Ecommerce product analytics team, proliferating data driven decision making and planning throughout the team.

Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience

  • 5-8 years Internet, marketing and/or management consulting experience with at least 3-4 years exclusively focused on the digital space

  • Education: MBA Required

  • B2C Experience at a BRAND a plus.

  • Proven experience leading strategy and digital roadmap projects in a complex business and marketing environment

  • Able to analyze and make sense of internal and external data, to independently come to preliminary recommendations for senior ecommerce leadership to consider.

  • Distil more complicated ideas and recommendations to simple, digestible conclusions and recommended actions.

  • Strong understanding of consumer research, user-centered design principles and online consumer behavior

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; dynamic (persuasive) in presenting ideas to VP to C-level

  • Team focused, action oriented, works under pressure quickly, effectively and efficiently

  • Must possess rigorous analytical disciplined approach as well as dynamic, abstract problem-solving skills (get to the answer via both "inspiration" and "perspiration")

  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
