Support Under Armour Distribution Center with coordinating and executing outbound shipment flow to UA’s wholesale customers. Manage UA’s carrier and customer relationships on behalf of UA’s Nashville Distribution Center.
Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)
Support multiple customer groups within UA and outside of our organization
Ensure the timely and accurate submission of routing/shipment requests
Work in tandem with the Distribution House Production control and Shipping teams to coordinate outbound shipment flow
Drive on-time and accurate shipment requests which supports our customer’s compliance rules
Key liaison in managing customer and carrier relationships on behalf of our Nashville Distribution House
Support Customer Service and Customer Compliance with their specific team initiatives and Customer chargeback’s
Facilitate regular collaboration with our Customers and Transportation providers
Identify process improvements that allows us to reduce customer lead times, eliminate repetitive steps and/or touches
Coach, mentor, and motivate team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
Day-to-day management of Routing team to include but not limited to performance, dept. headcount, payroll, and time off
Conducts and leads team huddles to clearly communicate all account or business changes and updates affecting the Team
Identify operational and transportation solutions to support our initiative to be the “Shipper of Choice”
Support NA Leadership team in annual transportation bids
Job Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in Distribution and/or Transportation
Strong proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Power Point, Access, Outlook and Share Point)
Solid analytical skills combined with the ability to effectively present findings to multiple levels of leadership
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute multiple concurrent tasks
Capability to build collaborative partnerships cross-functionally
