Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Marketing manages the organization’s marketing campaigns, programmes and communication plans. He/she develops overall brand, trade and sports marketing stategies and plan across South APAC (including SEA - 7 countries - SG,VN, IND, CAM,BRU, MYAM & PH) to drive sales and enhance brand awareness while ensuring the brand image and positioning is consistent across the region. The key role of this role is to bring the brand alive in terms of brand awareness and purchase intent, translating Global brand direction into relevant South APAC strategy.

Key Accountabilities and Scope of Role

  • Strategy : Establish overall brand, trade and sports marketing objectives and strategies to acquire and retain target customers and market segments. Conceptualize and execute on multi channel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels. Forecast, allocate and manage consumer activation of Retail/Wholesale Marketing Working budget. Achieve optimal press coverage through PR strategies and media exposure. Break down the strategy to country relevant action plans due to the vastly diverse markets of 7 markets in SEA.

  • Tactical Executions and Analytics : Optimize product seeding with post evaluation in terms of achieved media exposure and extensions. Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimizeaccordingly. Ensure best practice is followed in the markets in retail marketing, visual merchandising and in storecommunication. Forecast, allocate and manage consumer activation of Retail/Wholesale Marketing Working budget. Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights forfuture campaign development and go to market strategies, complete with formal proposals andrecommendations on tactics.

  • Brand Elevation : Initiate key brand campaigns on online and offline channels to drive brand awareness. Corporate with other functions to develop brand’s CRM programs. Customize and manage content for all eCommerce sales channel and in store communications. Work closely with all corporate departments to support O2O conversion.

  • Cross Functional Collaboration : Work closely with Retail/Wholesale Department to ensure key concepts are supported with comprehensive, commercial (KPI supported) marketing plans including consumer offers, in store marketing packs, staff training packages, visual merchandising guidelines thereby improving sell through and conversion rate. Work with the territories to localize and implement local retail marketing opportunities leveraging on global or regional assets.

Core Capabilities

  • Organizational Impact and Contribution : This role will be directly involved in supporting a successful marketing plan and strategy to support sales channels in retail, wholesale and eCommerce for SEA markets. This role will manage the annual marketing working budget in his/her respective markets, this role needs moderate supervision.

  • Creativity and Innovation : This role requires a unique mix of skill sets involving creativity, commercial acumen and compliance with global branding guidelines. The key challenge would be to formulate territory-customised marketing strategies with the right balance of digital and offline campaigns with the objective of raising brand awareness to support revenue growth across all channels

  • Communication and Collaboration : This role requires intensive interaction with APAC and global, and relevant departments like retail, visual merchandsing, wholesale, eCommerce and merchandising. This role is also required to be the key interface with external PR and communications agencies and brand ambassadors for various markets in SEA

  • Teams and Building Talent : The role has 2 Direct Reports. In addition, this role is required to collaborate closely with key brand ambassadors in the region. The role requires coaching of in-country marketing managers to be aligned and able to execute the regional guidelines at local level

Knowledge and Experience

  • Education : Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of related experience

  • Experience : Minimum 10 years of experience in a marketing-related environment with at least 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience

  • Critical Skills : -Demonstrated creative thinking -Logically thinking, good at analytics -Strong presentation skills -Excellent communication and negotiation skills -Presentable, diligent, and positive working attitude, multi-task and detail-oriented

  • Focus on financial success with ability to formulate strategies based on market needs and the Company goals.

  • Demonstrated delivery of sales targets, budget development and tracking, and demand forecasting. Persistence and resilience in the pursuit of objectives, willing to take new challenges and resolve issues

  • Demonstrates strong passion for the brand

Base Compensation

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
